You can download and install standalone versions of WebEx Recorder and Player to do the following:
Unlike the integrated WebEx Recorder, which is available only in the Meeting window, the standalone version of WebEx Recorder is available offline—that is, outside of a WebEx meeting. Thus, you can record applications or your computer's desktop at any time to create software demonstrations, training, and so on.

Note - The current version of WebEx Recorder creates files that have a .wrf extension. Earlier versions of WebEx Recorder create files that have a .wot extension. Download WebEx Player for *.wot files only if you need to play recordings in this earlier format.

You can use WebEx Recording Editor to edit any recording (.wrf) that was made using WebEx Recorder. The system requirements for WebEx Recording Editor are the same as those for WebEx Recorder and Player.
